'Hands': The Ting Tings Try Their Hand At Electro
The Ting Tings are best known for the indie-pop radio hits "Shut Up And Let Me Go" and "That's Not My Name" off their mega-successful debut 'We Started Nothing.' But today the British pop duo traded their trademark poppy guitar riffs for dizzy, synthy beats on the new Calvin Harris-produced single "Hands," marking a daringly delicious move into electro-pop territory.
"Hands," off their upcoming decidedly-more-dance sophomore effort 'Massage Kunst' due out this fall, features chanting lyrics layered over 80's party-pumping synths, and is available for fans to listen to on their Facebook fan page here. In a genius move, the band has also offered a free remix of the single to download - as long as you share it with your friends.

I like their new style but I'm also going to miss their old stuff...
ReplyDeleteI bet their new album with probably retain soem of the old sound so they don't lose their first audience. :) A lot of artists will do something like that!
