'Hands': The Ting Tings Try Their Hand At Electro

The Ting Tings are best known for the indie-pop radio hits "Shut Up And Let Me Go" and "That's Not My Name" off their mega-successful debut 'We Started Nothing.' But today the British pop duo traded their trademark poppy guitar riffs for dizzy, synthy beats on the new Calvin Harris-produced single "Hands," marking a daringly delicious move into electro-pop territory.

"Hands," off their upcoming decidedly-more-dance sophomore effort 'Massage Kunst' due out this fall, features chanting lyrics layered over 80's party-pumping synths, and is available for fans to listen to on their Facebook fan page here. In a genius move, the band has also offered a free remix of the single to download - as long as you share it with your friends.

  1. I like their new style but I'm also going to miss their old stuff...

  2. I bet their new album with probably retain soem of the old sound so they don't lose their first audience. :) A lot of artists will do something like that!
