A Year Without 'Rain': New Queen Of Hearts
I might be coming in late to the Queen of Hearts party, but consider my party hat officially on. The UK-based electro-pop artist, whose 2011 debut EP 'The Arrival' was praised by bloggers and critics alike, is gearing up to release her new double A side for "Neon" and "Tears In The Rain."
The first single "Neon" is a thumping electro-disco banger, Queen of Hearts channeling a little bit of Goldfrapp's airy vocals and dark-disco beats, as well as Kylie's melody-based throbbing dance-pop. The second track "Tears In The Rain" is a gorgeous, haunting dance track, with ethereal vocals and atmospheric trance synths reminiscent of a Sophie Ellis-Bextor track.
